Advantage Industries Inc. is committed to a health and safety program that protects our employees, our property, others who enter our worksite, the environment and the public. To meet this commitment safety must play and integral part in our operations. Employees at every level, whether permanent or contracted, are responsible and accountable for Advantage Industries Inc. safety performance. We must all do our part to minimize potential accidents. Management and Supervisor’s responsibility are to ensure that properly trained and competent workers are performing tasks in a safe and proper manner. Also, that hazardous conditions and accidents are investigated to determine measures for preventing their recurrence. Management and Employees will jointly develop a health and safety program and safe work procedures. Employees are responsible for following safe work procedures and to do everything reasonably possible to protect themselves, fellow workers and the public that become involved. Employees at every level are responsible for performing their work in compliance with regulatory and Advantage Industries Inc. policy requirements and for communicating unsafe work conditions. It is everyone’s responsibility to read and understand the Manufacturers Operation Maintenance and Safety Manual where necessary. Everyone must be aware they have the right and responsibility to refuse to do work when unsafe conditions exist. Our goal is to provide a healthy, injury free workplace for all employees.
